This session was bitter sweet… I was able to capture some great family moments before part of them moved across the country to follow God’s leading. It was an awesome time with this family and I really enjoyed capturing all these moments for them 🙂 It always sad to see clients move away but it’s been nice to see how things are playing out for them over social media! Hope they come to visit soon and I get to take more pictures of their family 🙂
It was such a pleasure to assist on this beautiful Placerville Wedding. Aren’t they just adorable!
Oh man this family knocks it out of the park again! My friend here is a fellow photog. She is also a wonderful stylist she has a real talent for envisioning sessions and putting them all together… then come session day she is laid back and ready to enjoy her time with her family!!! Today was no exception. This was my 6th session with them. We had a great time just hanging out by the lake in Rancho Murieta, we searched for skipping rocks (harder than you would think)… We played in the sun, it was a great night. Here is a little bit of my session with them. Every year I am nervous we won’t be able to top last years session and every year she styles it great and it’s a new adventure. This year we both had a vision of just hanging out and getting candid real life moments. I feel pretty good about what we got 🙂
I am excited to share a little glimpse of a birth I got to photograph. I have photographed a couple births now and let me just say, it is such an honor. I have cried each time and it is so magical being there… and I am not just saying that!!!
This particular day I was not actually set up to photograph the birth. I was just going to do a “First Day of Life” session for this family. However when labor was dragging it allowed me the time to make it there for the birth. I wanted to capture the first few minutes for this family. The un-known of what is to come, the beauty and excitement… and to celebrate LIFE!
She came out screaming and wanted everyone to know she was here!!!!! She was so chunky and cute and oh my goodness did not help the “baby bug” in the least bit!
